TSG Continues Longtime Tradition of Supporting Heart Health
November 13, 2018
On February 10, 2018, Donald and Lisa Shauger attended the 2018 Philadelphia Heart Ball in proud support of the American Heart Association (AHA). Each year, the Shaugers attend the Heart Ball and make donations to the AHA, committed to doing their part to help to fund lifesaving research into heart disease and strokes. Honored to support such a worthy cause, the Shaugers and The Shauger Group have remained steadfast supporters of the Heart Ball and AHA for many years, always eager to dedicate their time, money, and energy to the AHA’s mission.
At the 2018 Heart Ball, The Shauger Group and Shauger family were recognized as part of the Mission Impact Circle, which acknowledges those supporters who have continuously dedicated their support to the Heart Ball for the last five to ten years.
In 2014, the Shaugers were also first inducted into Cor Vitae: The Heart of Life, the AHA’s Philanthropic Giving Society, which recognizes as distinguished donors those who give $5,000 or more toward any area of the AHA.
At the 2018 Heart Ball, the Shaugers won tickets to attend a New York Yankees game in the general manager’s box. On September 19, 2018, the Shauger family attended the Yankees game against the Boston Red Sox—the Shaugers enjoyed the evening with general manager and senior vice president of the Yankees, Brian Cashman, thanks in part to their dedication to the AHA!
